The world premiere showing of a huge art installation entitled Mariner 9 took place at the Spanish City Dome, Whitley Bay.  

Mariner 9, by acclaimed Canadian artist Kelly Richardson, was commissioned by the Tyneside Cinema's PixelPalace and North Tyneside Council, and brings together traditional art and technology.  For more information click here.
